OnePlus 5 rumors suggest that the upcoming device will launch with some of the most sophisticated features, competing directly with market leaders - Apple and Samsung. The latest flagship OnePlus smartphone will be powered by Android 7.0 Nougat and is rumored to launch the dual edged display screen, just like Samsung Galaxy S7.

According to PC Advisor, OnePlus 5 rumors are strong enough to suggest that the much touted star device is imminent. Speculations hint that the smartphone will launch in two variants and feature glass and aluminum body.

There is also a possibility of a USB-Type C connector. Under the hood, the device will reportedly run on Snapdragon 835 processor and will sport 6GB RAM with 64GB internal storage. At the top end, another variant will feature128GB internal storage that can be expanded up to 256GB with a microSD card.

OnePlus 5 rumors also indicate that the smartphone will have 23MP rear camera and 16GB front camera. Additionally, it will come equipped with 4000mAh battery power with a provision for faster charging.

Even though the company is yet to officially confirm the device, OnePlus 5 rumors already hail the smartphone as iPhone 8 and Samsung Galaxy S8 killer. OnePlus is also speculated to introduce 4K display AMOLED screen with high quality video designed using the latest 3D technology.

Meanwhile, OnePlus 5 rumors also mention that a new device is to be launched much earlier than expected. A recent wallpaper shared on Twitter by @evleaks suggest that a new OnePlus phone, be it OnePlus 5 or OnePlus 3T, will be out soon. At the same time, David Ruddock from Android Police also tweeted that a "dark announcement" is to be expected by the Chinese manufacturer.

At the same time, GSM Arena reported that a blue colored OnePlus 3T will reportedly launch today. The smartphone manufacturer has been dropping hints about collaboration with Collette boutique in Paris, suggesting that it is up to something, and it is nothing to do with swirling OnePlus 5 rumors.

If the speculations around the matter are true, then OnePlus enthusiasts can expect to see a new OnePlus 3T smartphone in Colette's signature blue. Another possibility is that the French fashion company will introduce a line of accessories for the smartphone.
