'Prison Break' Season 5 Update: 5th Season CONFIRMED, Dominic Purcell Reveals Some Major Details
The renewal of "Prison Break" even after the last episode aired in 2009 was very much a big surprise to all of its fans. But what's more shocking was when it was confirmed that Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller) was actually alive and it's now his turn to escape in the all-new "Prison Break" Season 5.
According to GamenGuide, it's no longer a surprise that Michael will be returning in "Prison Break" Season 5 since the official trailer has already revealed it so. Miller's co-star Dominic Purcell has also been very generous to share storylines for the limited series.
Back in June 2016, Purcell told Deadline that the story will be dealing with terrorist groups, ISIS and ISA. Obviously, Michael would turn up alive and is actually working for an unknown organization.
Soon, Michael would realize that he can no longer continue doing the dirty work, which resulted in him getting being jailed in Yemen. In the sneak peek of "Prison Break" Season 5, it was also revealed that Michael Scofield is in the Ogygia Prison in Yemen.
All of Michael's friends from the previous seasons will are also returning to help Lincoln plan the big escape. But having Lincoln and company breaking out Michael is only the beginning of the challenge, as Miller shared, and that what's much more difficult is getting out of Yemen altogether.
According to Express UK, while much of the major storyline was already teased, fans are still wondering what surprises lies ahead for them from "Prison Break" Season 5. Despite the many reveals, there are still a lot of mysteries needed to be solved, especially on how Michael turned up to be alive after all.
