Starting with the Avengers, the studio went on to have the Guardians of the Galaxy starring Star Lord and the others. Now, the franchise is on its 2nd installment that is scheduled for release this year. Moreover, James Gunn, director of the first two movies is giving hints that the third film will be following but still, there are things he's thinking.
According to Screen Rant, director James Gunn is confirming to fans that the third installment for the "Guardians of the Galaxy" is coming. The "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3" details are still not revealed as to what the studio will be trying to hit this time. Nonetheless, it was confirmed that the Guardians of the Galaxy characters are going to be a big part of the Marvel Universe.Moreover, the studio is contemplationg on making a $160 million opening for the second installment.
Meanwhile, Blastr reported that even though director James Gunn did confirmed a third film, he is still unsure if he's going to do it. In an interview, he confirmed that he's going to make another big movie but is still undetermined if he's going to do the "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3" or shift to making another. But still, the director has been a big part of the franchise and many are thinking that he might not leave. James Gunn is an executive director for the upcoming "Avengers: Infinity War" and looking at his involvement, he is an essential one.
Nonetheless, the director's doubts on making the third film is one that could take away the charm of the "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3." He even said that the second installment is one of the film he loved on doing. For that, fans have to wait for his next update.
