‘Star Wars 8: The Last Jedi’ Spoilers: Set Photos Leaked; Supreme Leader Snoke May Be Darth Plagueis
Even though Snoke, known as the Sith Lord, has not featured in any "Star Wars" films so far, his character has been introduced in novels as the mentor of Darth Sidious. Now the latest "Star Wars 8: The Last Jedi" spoilers suggest that the leaked photo brought up by Mike Zeroh is none other than Snoke.
According to Express, Mike Zeroh, a credible "Star Wars" theorist, reveals in his video that Snoke may be Darth Plagueis or may be based on his character in some ways. Zeroh adds that the pictures show Andy Serkis wearing a mo-cap suit, looking like Snoke. As per "Star Wars 8: The Last Jedi" spoilers, the interesting thing to note in the picture is a staff that Andy is holding in his left hand. Zeroh explains that Plagueis' figure holds similar kind of staff, making him speculate that Snoke is in fact Darth Plagueis.
Zeroh hints that Disney and Lucasfilm may be basing Snoke's character on Darth Plagueis, with a few tweaks here and there, the same way they did with Darth Revan and Kylo Ren. Zeroh, however, also pointed out that Pablo Hidalog, Star Wars canon expert from Lucasfilm, denies that Snoke is the Darth Sidious's mentor. But it is safe to assume that the production would want to keep "Star Wars 8: The Last Jedi" spoilers under tight wraps, for obvious reasons.
Meanwhile, many "Star Wars" fans have wondered what will happen to Princess Leia's iconic character after Carrie Fisher died in Dec. 2016. Some fans even wondered if the actress' sad demise will affect the filming experience. However, Disney CEO Bob Iger dispels "Star Wars 8: The Last Jedi" spoilers and explains that even though Fisher's death was a huge setback to the production house and the fans, her performance in episode 8 will remain as is. Fisher finished filming all her seasons before her death, thus leaving the output of the film unaffected, reported E! News.
