After an episode of disappointments and secrets, on Monday, Alex and Maggie unexpectedly run through the latter's ex-girlfriend. The "Supergirl" Season 2 Episode 17 titled "Distant Sun" will show an awkward scene when Alex and Maggie bumped into Emily, Maggie's ex-girlfriend. Almost unusual as when they all agreed to have dinner together, if the past is all over for them, then inviting an 'old friend' over dinner harms nobody.

Despite the relationship being done and over in the past, Maggie was still shocked to see her ex-girlfriend while alongside Alex, her new flame. According to reports from EconoTimes, Floriana Lima who plays Maggie already teased about the scene and it is obvious that most of its avid fans can relate to it. While Kara's unexpected visitor are still there to remind her of Mon-El's secret background as the prince of Daxam, which she finds to be distasteful.

In the episode 17 synopsis of "Supergirl", the leading superhero has to fight off the nosy aliens who try to take her in replace of a reward as per reports from Comic Book Movie. With an ongoing dilemma with her boyfriend Mon-El, Kara returns to National City to drive away the alien troublemakers. "Wonder Woman's" Lynda Carter comes back as President Marsdin to command a startling instruction to Hank, which he finds himself stuck up in the situation.

There is also something to look forward to on Lex Luthor's sister, Lena Luthor who will be on the show as a regular cast for the third season. However, Katie McGrath of "Jurassic World" who will play as Lena Luthor is still mum on her character's fate for season 3.
