Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello may be more than friends despite denying the rumors that they are dating. The "Treat You Better" singer shared a video of him and Cabello singing Ed Sheeran's "Kiss Me" song and it apparently fueled more romantic rumors.

Shawn Mendes put the video on Instagram and explained in the captions that he found it on his phone. He tagged Camila Cabello and adds that he was amused by their expressions at the end when they finished the song.

People reports that Shawn Mendes has previously denied the rumors about dating Camila Cabello. The rumors were put to rest by Mendes last year saying that they were close friends and they connect really well. As for Cabello, the outlet adds that the former Fifth Harmony member will never talk about her love life publicly because she thinks its important to keep it private.

Shawn Mendes also praised Camila Cabello and her songwriting skills. He adds that he would look forward to working together with the songstress because she is easy to work with.

According to Billboard, Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello initially collaborated in 2015 for the song "I Know What You Did Last Summer." The dating rumors reportedly started when fans saw that the two tweeted one another 'flirtingly' on Twitter.

The Shawn Mendes, Camila Cabello rumors have flared up again because of the Ed Sheeran song. Some fans think that the "Kiss Me" lyrics are a subtle show of their affections even though the two are just singing it.

The two have not made comments about the new dating rumors again. However, Mendes posted another Ed Sheeran cover on his Instagram page.
