"American Horror Story" season7 is creeping up on fans but unlike past seasons when viewers were treated with numerous reveals and hints, producer Ryan Murphy only said one thing. Murphy said that this would be based on the 2016 U.S. elections, the most horrific event that has happened in the country. Sarah Paulson, AHS regular, says that it's more than what viewers think.

Sarah Paulson was at the AHS PaleyFest over the weekend and she revealed that "American Horror Story" season 7 would be about the election but not a straightforward recreation of the event, E! News reported. She asks fans to give credit to Murphy who has a lot of crazy ideas over the past seasons. "It's probably not going to be what you think," the Emmy award-winning actress said.

There were also news that in "American Horror Story" season 7 Paulson will be playing one of the most prominent figures in the U.S. elections and that is no other than Hillary Clinton. Again Paulson said that this all rumor and that "American Horror Story" is mostly about allegory.

Another cast member who gave his two cents about the upcoming "American Horror Story" season 7 is Cheyenne Jackson. He revealed that he once tried to speculate about the plot for next season and he can't think of anything as twisted. Jackson said that he knew that Murphy had a lot to say about the 2016 elections but still he had no idea what the producer would think of next, IMDB reported.

Aside from Sarah Paulson and Cheyenne Jackson, Evan Peters is also set to be part of "American Horror Story" season 7. It is not yet confirmed if Kathy Bates will be part of the upcoming season but knowing AHS, updates will surely be released anytime soon. "American Horror Story" returns to FX this fall.
