"Shokugeki no Souma" 208 is out now and is entitled "Feet Planted On The Ground." This brand new chapter is about the start of the Regiment de Cuisine, a battle for the spots of the Elite Ten. The remaining members of the Elite Ten take on traitors of the academy in a series of one-on-one matches with a specific theme. First one up is Yukihira Souma vs. Kinokuni Nene and their theme is soba.

Manga Stream has the latest "Shokugeki no Souma" 208. The chapter gives a brief history of Nene as the member of the Elite Ten was known for her perfection in the arts, dancing as well as her cooking. She started learning how to dance, calligraphy, playing music and the arts while she was young. She has perfected the art of making soba by channeling the energy from her feet and legs to her hands, efficiently kneading the buckwheat flour with her four fingers and thumb.

Nene's skill and talent precedes her as the audience cheered for her in "Shokugeki no Souma" 208 seen in Manga Fox. Souma on the other hand was ridiculed when he was seen making soba noodles using a machine. Souma did not have skills to match Nene but his father told him that his skills as a diner chef was enough. The Polar Star student felt inspired when he remembered the smiles in their customers' faces and planned to create soba "Souma style."

Nene was not pleased at what she saw and said that it takes months to perfect each part of soba noodles creation. She boasted that Souma has no match to her skills but Yukihira did not budge. On the inside, Nene was quite intimidated and feels her competition behind her back. The chapter ends with both contestants still preparing their soba noodles; they have less than 2 hours to complete their dish.
