'The Simpsons' With Norman Lear On Episodes Of Season 29 As He Appears With One Of His Works' Theme Songs
"The Simpsons" will feature another icon in the movie and TV industry on its next season. The long-running animated TV series that centers on Bart and his eccentric family have long been its tradition to bring about celebrity cameos. From recently Sarah Silverman and Snoop Dogg in Season 28, too fast backtrack Stephen Hawking, Paula and Linda McCartney, Lady Gaga, and Stan Lee, it has boosted a lot. Now, this comedy series will stay and renew until season 30.
According to reports from A.V. Club, Norman Lear will be appearing in one of the episodes of season 29 by portraying himself with one of the theme songs of his show. "The Simpsons" will put in a dose of his works such as "All In The Family", "The Jeffersons", "Good Times" and a lot more to choose from. Lear is still active in the movie and TV industry, thus he expressed his fondness on his social media account that he has reached this far to be featured on the popular animated series.
His achievement as an all-time producer and creator of various comedy shows on television puts him in a brief cameo even at 94 years old. Based on reports from Forward, he will be following the famous figures that "The Simpsons" have already given attention to, because of his reputation as a comedy legend. His appearance will be this fall as season 29 premieres on Fox.
Norman Lear is currently the executive producer of Netflix's "One Day At A Time" which is the reboot of the 1975-1984 comedy series. Among his recent projects are a docuseries called "America Divided" and his very own documentary "Norman Lear: Just Another Version of You." Meanwhile, executive producer James L. Brooks was awarded the Norman Lear Achievement Award in Television at the recently held Producers Guild Awards.
