'The Legend of Conan' Confirmed Dead Due To Universal Sutdio's Lost Interest, High Budget & Unsure Title
After Arnold Schwarzenegger has been spending his time making the sequel "The Legend of Conan" it may be possible that the movie would not happen after all his hard work. But it seems like Arnold remains optimistic and still holding on to a ray of hope.
According to Film, the President and CEO of Cabinet Entertainment Fredrick Malmberg reassure Arnold fans that "The Legend of Conan" is now in better hands. But, further details were released earlier stating that the film will not be happening because of the lost interest of the Universal Studios in making the film.
Chris Morgan is losing all his hope for "The Legend of Conan" to happen. He said via Entertainment Weekly, that it was honestly a heartbreaking moment knowing that the Universal Studio will not be able to continue the sequel.
Chris Morgan also shared that the budget was really big and was not quite really sure about the title. So, they end up letting go the making of the "The Legend of Conan." The character of Conan was first created by Robert E. Howard in the year 1932.
In the year 2012, producers Frederick Malmberg and Chris Morgan declared their plans for the sequel of 1982 film "Conan the Barbarian" titled "The Legend of Conan." There are also different stories about 1982 film stating that it occur in "Hyborian Age" right after the destruction of Atlantis and before the rise of the so-called ancient civilization.
"Conan the barbarian" was followed with not so famous sequel "Conan the destroyer" in year the 1984. "Conan the conqueror" is the third entry was planned in two related movies and is set to release in 1987. But unfortunately, it never came to fruition.
Now, "The Legend of Conan" may not be happening after all of the sad details released. However, many fans are still hoping that the show might be pushed after all the doubtful details that were released earlier this week.
On the other hand, Arnold Schwarzenegger the main character of the movie, "The Legend of Conan" appeared in over 30 films and also has a background in directing and producing. He started his acting career with small roles until his acting skills grows enormously.
