'Sherlock' Season 5 Still Unlikely To Happen; But Cumberbatch, Freeman, Producers & Writers Are All Willing To Give Another Shot
Many fans of Sherlock have saddened after the finale episode of the season 4 and even more feel disappointed upon hearing that "Sherlock" Season 5 is unlikely to happen. But solid fans of the series didn't lose hope as they have created an online petition for the production to renew.
Everybody is hoping for a "Sherlock" Season 5 no matter how much time fans and avid viewers needed to wait. They already waited for 3 years for its season 4 to appear on their TV screens, surely waiting is not a cost for another season as they would surely be getting mind-blowing episodes.
Movie Pilot reported that a twitter page @Bring221Back has been created to create petition from the fans for producers to create and release "Sherlock" Season 5. The effort of the dedicated fans who created the page and uses #Bring221Back is trending and now, they are hoping to be successful to persuade the producers and writers to give their fans another worth shot of the series.
Everybody is not yet ready to say goodbye to Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman as Sherlock and Dr. Watsons. Though decisions are all left to the management and the network of the show if they ever decided to have another shot for "Sherlock" Season 5.
Despite all the noises it created in the social media, seems like the news hasn't reached to Cumberbatch and Freeman yet. The two are still mum about the possibilities or the fate of "Sherlock" Season 5. The best partner in the TV series is yet to release a statement.
In the previous reports, after the finale episode "Sherlock" Season 4, The Telegraph reported that "Sherlock" Season 5 is unlikely to happen. According to Steven Moffat, he would be not so surprised if the season 4 was already the last time they made this show and is very likely.
Also, Benedict Cumberbatch stated in his previous interviews and said: "We will never say never and when it is right, and if it is right, we will do more." Though he claimed that the file episode in "Sherlock" Season 4 feels like the end, still can't predict and slash the possibility out for "Sherlock" Season 5.
