Gordon Ramsay Reveals His Kids Will Not Inherit His Fortune; Chef’s Father-In-Law Found Guilty For Hacking Charges
Gordon Ramsay has made his mark in the culinary universe. He is one of the most known and perhaps one of the wealthiest chef as well.
According to Telegraph, in 2016 Forbes has estimated Gordon Ramsey's fortune worth approximately $54 million, which is equal to Beyoncé's. However, the "Masterchef" and "Hell's Kitchen" host has announced that he doesn't want to spoil his kids and thus none of them will get much of his fortune as an inheritance.
"It's definitely not going to them, and that's not in a mean way; it's to not spoil them," Telegraph quoted Gordon Ramsay. "The only thing I've agreed with [wife] Tana is they get a 25 percent deposit on a flat, but not the whole flat."
Gordon Ramsay is a proud father of three daughters and a son. The chef said that although he has taught the kids how to cook as a life skill but has not used his influence to make the career of his kids.
Gordon Ramsay continued that his prime focus was never making money but follow his passion and he has instilled the same qualities in his kids as well. The 49-year old revealed he almost never brings the children to fine-dining establishments, not even the ones he owns.
Talking about his parenting journey Gordon Ramsay continued that when traveling together his four kids do not sit with him and his wife in the first class of the plane. The chef reasoned that the kids should understand that luxury comes with lots of hard work and at their age, they haven't earned it yet.
Gordon Ramsay believes in working hard in life and wants his children to not depend on their father's wealth and influence. He has made it clear that all four of them have to make their own career and enjoy the fruits that will then come along with it.
More on Gordon Ramsay, The Guardian reports that chef's father-in-law Chris Hutcheson has been found guilty for hacking into Ramsay's business computers and stealing private information. Hutcheson was accompanied by two of his sons, Adam and Chris Jr in this crime.
The incidents took place between 23 October 2010 and 31 March 2011. Gordon Ramsay had sacked his father-in-law In October 2010 and the next year the court battle started.
