Brad Pitt ‘Malificent’ Red Carpet Premiere: Star Speaks Out About Attack
Brad Pitt is breaking his silence about the infamous "journalist" who attacked him during his wife, Angelina Jolie's "Malificent" premiere.
The premiere took place last Wednesday where Pitt, Jolie, and five of their six kids walked down the red carpet for the celebratory event.
However, things suddenly went from celebratory to dirty within seconds when attacker and self-proclaimed journalist Vitalii Sediuk came into contact with Pitt.
People reports that Sediuk managed to jump the barrier at the red carpet event, and tried to jump the actor. Sediuk was promptly arrested and despite Pitt's startling incident with the crazed attacker, Pitt kept a smile on his face, kept things professional, and continued to sign autographs for fans.
But now it seems that Pitt is putting his smile aside and threatening that, if the Sediuk tries to pull one of his bizarre stunts again, he will "get stomped."
"I don't mind an exhibitionist," Pitt told People Magazine, "but if this guy keeps it up he's going to spoil it for the fans who have waited up all night for an autograph or a selfie, because it will make people more wary to approach a crowd. And he should know, if he tries to look up a woman's dress again, he's going to get stomped."
Pitt's reference to Sediuk "looking up a woman's dress" is about Sediuk's recent stunt that he pulled with America Ferrera at this year's Cannes Film Festival.
Upon Ferrera's entrance at the festival in promotion of her "How to Train Your Dragon 2" film, Sediuk slid across the red carpet and almost ended up under her all white gown in attempt to snap an infamous "celebrity crotch shot' of the 30-year-old actress.
Sediuk is also known for pulling stunts on other celebrities such as Will Smith and Bradley Cooper, among others.
So what was Brad's story of how Sediuk managed to get near him on Wednesday?
Brad told People, "I was at the end of the line signing autographs, when out the corner of my eye I saw someone stage-diving over the barrier at me. I took a step back; this guy had latched onto my lapels. I looked down and the nutter was trying to bury his face in my crotch, so I cracked him twice in the back of the head -- not too hard -- but enough to get his attention, because he did let go. I think he was then just grabbing for a hand hold because the guys were on him, and he reached up and caught my glasses."
With all of the stunts that Sediuk pulled, it's a wonder why he has yet to receive some serious jail time.
