Angry Mob Burns Alive Mexican Pedophile Accused of Raping 6-Year-Old
A Mexican man was accused of the crime of rape and murder of a six-year-old child was killed. The suspect was hit multiple times by a group of angry residents before he got tied up and drenched in petrol. Later, they set him on fire while he was still breathing.
According to the media, the Mexican pedophile that was burned alive was Alfredo Roblero. Previously, he was the primary suspect of the rape and murder of the minor named Jarid.
In an article by Latin Times, it was reported that the crime occurred in a small town in the Southern Region of Mexico in the Chiapas state.
How Was He Executed?
In a video recording uploaded to the internet, it was shown that a group of male individuals surrounded the suspected rapist, Roblero. He was struck many times and kicked by a group of people. Some of the participants in the event were seen recording the incident on their mobile phones.
Later, they tied the hands and feet of Roblero. Then, they showered him with gasoline before they lit him aflame.
The p suspected pedophile was helpless as he burnt in the fire with his hands and feet tied. He was not capable of moving any part of his body rather than his lips as he shouted in agony while his entire body burned in the fire.
The crowd who watched him helplessly die in the hands of the fire mocked him. As the man's life ends in the wrath of the fire, the audience can be seen whistling in celebration.
How did the police respond?
The authorities in Tachulla City arrested Roblero, 37-years old. He was placed in a police vehicle. Then, a group of people hurriedly forced the suspect out of the vehicle. Robledo was dragged by the group of men to the nearby park where he was beaten, tied, and then burned alive.
According to the police, they tried to stop the mob, but they were overpowered. However, in some reports, it said that the police did not do anything to stop the mob's vicious attack on Roblero.
According to the official statement from the police in the area, the police of the state had arrived moments after the incident happened. The police brought Chiapas Attorney General's Office's (FGE) forensic professionals to study the execution of Roblero by the mob. It said that the FGE will not allow citizens to impose justice.
In the past years, cases of public executions have been increasing in Mexico. The reason for this is the insufficiency of the justice system to punish guilty parties. This leads to guilty individuals or groups of individuals being left unpunished by the law. Some of these cases may be caused by file and witness statement mismanagement.
Public Execution Gone Wrong
In an article from BBC, it tells of a similar story where the suspect of a crime dies at the hands of the public.
After rumors of people abducting children spread through WhatsApp in a small village in Mexico, two men faced death. They were burned alive by the public.
However, the rumors were fake. Two individuals lost their lives and faced judgment in the hands of citizens without the due process of law.
