Lopez honored her heritage by wearing a feathered cape that showed both the flag of the United States and Puerto Rican flag. She opened the cape to show the Puerto Rican flag as her daughter, Emme Muniz and a children's choir, joined her for their rendition of Bruce Springsteen's classic "Born in the USA."

They were also joined by other international stars like J Balvin and Bad Bunny, two Latin American stars who made a breakthrough in the United States in 2019.

Jennifer Lopez has donated $1 million to Puerto Rico after the island was hit by the Hurricane Maria. During the Superbowl show, the Puerto Rico flag was flashed as the iconic Springsteen song was played and this was to remind Puerto Ricans that they are American citizens.

The performance of Jennifer Lopez and her daughter reflects the family oriented lifestyle of Latinos and other immigrants in the country. Muniz sang along with the children's choir and other children who were dancing in lighted cage-like seats that represented the thousands of children, mostly from Latin American countries, who are still going through asylum procedures at the border.

The opening act of Shakira is one of the best ever, as she started with her 2009 hit "She Wolf" before stepping behind the guitar for 2014's "Empires."

Meanwhile, Bad Bunny joined Shakira for the rendition of Cardi B's "I Like It," Shakira also danced her recent hit "Callaita" before joining again Jennifer Lopez on the stage.

Moreover, Jennifer Lopez wore a full leather bodysuit and she started with 2003's "Jenny From the Block," After Lopez performed her number 1 song "Ain't It Funny" she shifted immediately without any interruption into her 2004's "Get Right" and replacing the radio's version sample with an actual marching band. She also climbed large pole and performed some rather impressive pole dancing moves while singing "Waiting for Tonight." Moments later she switched to a mirrored bodysuit by Versace and replicated some of the moves from her latest movie "Hustlerz" before joining Balvin for the rendition of his song "Mi Gente."

Muniz sang the beginning of the song "Let's Get Loud" before Lopez came onstage. Shakira eventually joined JLo, after playing the drums, for a duet in the 2010 World Cup song "Waka Waka."

Meanwhile, Alex Rodriguez, fiancee of Jennifer Lopez, shared a video of him with his children while bouncing up and down and singing along to "On the Floor," Rodriguez and the kids were sure having some fun during the performance of JLo and Shakira.
