Michael Loftus, a comedian and new political commentator for Fox News, jokingly expressed his support for Brad Pitt after making a meaningful attempt at a humorous statement about the current political atmosphere during his speech at the Oscars.

Brad Pitt's Speech at the Oscars

Brad Pitt shared how he was given 45 seconds to deliver a speech. Then, he expressed how the Senate gave John Bolton 45 seconds less than he was given.

Loftus shared how funny the statement of Pitt was during the Oscars and snapped back with a quick-witted joke of his own.

"But it's also 45 seconds longer than anyone in Hollywood gave Trump a chance." Loftus said.

Loftus jokingly said that before Donald Trump was elected to office, everyone was expressing their dislike and claiming that he was guilty. "They've been going since jump street." Loftus added.

Loftus is the host of a newly launched show on Fox News called "The Freedom to Laugh: Loftus Comedy Special."

It was reported that Loftus added a comment involving the rarity of people who are genuinely on the same page as their political beliefs.

The humorous remarks of Loftus center on his belief that all Americans, regardless of their philosophies in life, should be allowed to make or appreciate a good joke.

Loftus' special starts with words coming from the former Prime Minister of the UK, Winston Churchill. The quotation centers on the pretense of those who show everyone their support of free speech when in fact it only applies to themselves.

"Everyone is in favor of free speech. Hardly a day passes without its being extolled, but some people's idea of it is that they are free to say what they like, but if anyone else says anything back, that is an outrage."

-Winston Churchill

According to the quote, some individuals understand free speech as a privilege for them to speak their minds. However, when someone else speaks freely, many react unfavorably.

Loftus' Comedic Political Remarks

Brad Pitt's attempt at funny political remarks at the Oscars is just one of the examples of how celebrities are using their platform to try to influence millions of people, who honestly, they have nothing in common with.

In "The Freedom to Laugh: Loftus Comedy Special," every topic is open, including former presidents of the country.

In his new show, he jokingly commented about the Clinton administration's past deeds.

Loftus added in his joke an observation he had during the leadership of Bill Clinton in the country and it had an underlying joke about his sex scandal with a White House intern. He shared how he had noticed how relaxed he had been during his first term in office. He added, now people know why he was like that.

Also, Loftus let out a comment about the 2020 elections campaign strategy.

He questioned how the Democratic Party is putting its focus on bringing down Donald Trump to win in the 2020 elections. They are trying to make sure that they can stop Trump's re-election.

Loftus was curious about what the Democrats are trying to stop. He shared statistics such as high employment rates in the country, an increase in wages, and growing small businesses. He believes that the country is in a good situation and like most conservatives, feels that the Democrats are bitter and afraid of the positive change that Donald Trump is bringing to the country

He also showed his confusion of the current US president's critics. He questions their view on the reality of the government.

An article from Fox News stated that Loftus shared how the people in politics will do everything in their power to reach their goal. He believes Democrats will do their best to win the fight, even if it means dividing the country and constantly attacking a duly elected President.
