The Coronavirus Cases in Each US State
The United States of America is exerting great efforts to limit the spread of the coronavirus in the country, said an article from CNN. According to US officials, further testing for the virus will increase the total number of positive cases of the coronavirus illness in the country.
On Tuesday, a total of 74 coronavirus cases were reported from 13 different states.
Despite the increasing number of COVID-19 cases, US officials affirm that there is no need for the public to panic.
The Total Coronavirus Cases in Each State
In the state of Washington, there are 27 confirmed cases of the COVID-19. Five of the confirmed cases are situated in a long-term nursing center in a Seattle suburb.
In California, there are 23 confirmed positive cases for the coronavirus. It was reported that half of the COVID-19 cases in the state were travel-related. Additionally, four or more of the cases are from unknown origins.
In North Carolina, there is one patient who was positive for the novel coronavirus. According to officials, the patient was recovering from the illness at home.
In Oregon, there are there positive cases of the COVID-19. The state had already declared a state of emergency in the entire region after two new cases were discovered.
There are currently four confirmed cases of the coronavirus in Illinois. The two new patients were reported to be both in their 70s. The two patients are currently in stable condition from the illness.
Massachusetts reports two positive cases of the coronavirus. In the latest case, a woman, in her 20s, did not show any symptoms related to the illness.
In Florida, three confirmed cases of the COVID-19 were reported. The third was called a 'presumptive positive' by the CDC.
In Georgia, two patients tested positive for the coronavirus. According to Governor Brian Kemp, the two cases in the state were from the same household.
Rhode Island had reported two confirmed cases of the illness. The patients were reported to have traveled to Europe. Currently, a third person is being tested for the coronavirus.
In New York, two confirmed cases were reported. One of the patients is a 39-year-old health worker who returned to the US from a trip to Iran. The other patient is a man from New Rochelle who has a job in Manhattan, started by New York's Governor Andrew Cuomo.
Arizona reported two patients who tested positive for the coronavirus illness. One of the two patients is recently reported to have survived the illness. The patient tested negative for the deadly virus.
In New Hampshire, two patients were given the 'presumptive positive' diagnosis for the dangerous coronavirus. The first one was the first one to be labeled as a 'presumed positive' while the second one was given a similar diagnosis due to being in contact with the first case.
In Wisconsin, a sole case of the coronavirus epidemic was reported in the earlier parts of February. The patient was reported to have traveled to Beijing China, stated the Wisconsin Department of Health Services. The infected patient was in isolation. The patient's risk of infecting the public is low. Currently, the patient had recovered from the deadly disease. The patient is now released from isolation.
