‘RHONY’ Star Aviva Drescher’s Father, 76, Defends Marrying 25-Year-Old Girlfriend: Says Relationship is a 'Mysterious Power'
Aviva Drescher's father, George Teichner, recently made a proposal that raised lots of eyebrows on "Real Housewives of New York."
The New York Daily News reported that 76-year-old Teichner proposed to his 25-year-old girlfriend, Dana Lavette Cody, on the hit Bravo show.
Though many "RHONY" cast members were startled and confused by the engagement, Drescher had nothing but nice things to say about Cody and her father being together.
In fact, Us Magazine reported that on the "RHONY" proposal episode, Drescher threw Cody and her father and engagement party at the Museum of Sex.
"The Museum of Sex is an obvious choice for my father's engagement party," Drescher said on the show. "I believe that Cody and my father are truly in love, and while it may be unconventional, I support my father."
Teichner also weighed in on his unconventional and, as he describes it, his "mysterious" relationship with Dana Cody. After all, Cody is younger than his own daughter.
"Our relationship is a mysterious power from which the worlds around me have originated upon meeting Cody and is the base on which my all rests and moves," Teichner recently told Us Weekly.
Teichner then continued to profess his love for Cody while slamming the critics who say that the pairing is completely wrong.
"As to the naysayers, jealous women, and just plain Stoopids," Teichner said to Us Weekly. "I emphasize to such now: things that are not definable, that cannot be delineated, are usually dismissed as false."
He continued, "The joy and bliss which Cody and I experience together daily does not have form. Same is experience-based, not sense-based. Not concerned with being seen by the eyes of others, but seen with our vision of clarified and purified love."
Uh, ok?
