Some celebrities have caught the novel coronavirus and lived to tell the tale of their battle with the illness such as Tom Hanks. However, some stars cannot take the risk of getting COVID-19 due to some pre-existing health conditions:

Selena Gomez was first diagnosed with lupus before 2015. Lupus is an autoimmune disorder where the body's immune system attacks healthy tissues inside the body. The illness caused her to underwent chemotherapy. In 2017, she had a kidney transplant. After the operation, she was doing better. However, lupus has no cure.
Selena Gomez is yet to speak about how, as an immunocompromised lupus patient, she will be living amid the COVID-19 pandemic, says an article. However, it was seen that the actress-singer-producer had liked a remix of 'Hands to Myself' made by a fan. The fans had reportedly changed the lyrics of the song to speak about the importance of social distancing.

Sarah Hyland of Modern Family had just finished working on the long-running sitcom.
For many years, she has been dealing with a health condition. She suffers from a disease called kidney dysplasia. Kidney dysplasia is a health condition that had affected her daily lifestyle. Also, she had undergone many kidney transplants. The disease is a life-long battle for her.
During a recent podcast episode of People, Hyland spoke about the stress of being immunocompromised. For those who get a 24-hour bug, for her, it takes at least a week to recover. For her condition, getting a virus is very dangerous.
Also, she revealed that her panic level is high and that she has a lot of health conditions that are sensitive to stress. That is why she tries her best to remain calm.
Hyland obeys the advice of the CDC and health authorities to stay at home. She is self-quarantining with her fiancé, Wells Adams.
