In February, Vanessa Bryant was reported to have filed a lawsuit against Island Express Helicopters, the company that owns the helicopter that crashed in January claiming the lives of basketball legend Kobe Bryant and daughter, Gianna Bryant. This opened the debacle among fans on who's at fault? Was it a human error, a propeller, the passengers, or if it was because it exceeded the passenger capacity?

Vanessa Bryant's Lawsuit Against Zobayan

The lawsuit was filed for the wrongful death of the passengers of the helicopter. It was filed after the memorial service of Kobe and Gianna Bryant. 

Based on an article, the lawsuit states that the company that owned the helicopter was negligent by allowing it to take flight amid the dangerous fog during that devastating day. 

Ara George Zobayan, the pilot of the helicopter that took the lives of Kobe Bryant, Gianna Bryant, and all the other passengers of the air vehicle, was accused of negligence for not executing the right kind of diligence as any other pilot would have employed it they were on the same circumstance. According to the article, the lawsuit stated that Zobayan did not consider the dangerous condition and continued flight. 

Zobayan's Lawsuit Against the Passengers 

In recent news, another lawsuit was filed involving the dreadful helicopter crash incident, the article revealed that Berge Zobayan, also filed a lawsuit against the passengers of the helicopter that Ara George Zobayan flew. In the lawsuit it was stated that the deaths from the deadly helicopter crash were caused by the passengers and not the pilot. 

In the submitted document filed by Zobayan it mentioned that the passengers of the helicopter were aware of the risk of that flight. 

Autopsy Reveals Additional Details of Kobe Bryant and Gianna Bryant's Death

In a recent article, the autopsy report for Kobe Bryant, his daughter, Gianna, along with other passengers were shared with the public. 

It also revealed in the autopsy files that the passengers and the pilot of the crash died instantly after the crash in a hillside in California. Additionally, the autopsy report declared that the pilot of the helicopter was not in the influence of any alcoholic substance or drugs during the accident. Furthermore, the report stated that broken bones were observed with dislocated body parts and shirts smelling like fuel.

The Accident

In January, the helicopter carrying Kobe Bryant, Gianna Bryant, and other passengers, including the pilot had died from a crash. 

According to an article, the helicopter came from John Wayne Airport and crashed in a location near Calabasa, California where officials had difficulty accessing.The rescue team had to walk a long distance to access the area where the helicopter crashed. 

The other victims of the helicopter crash were John Altobelli, Keri Altobelli, Alyssa Altobelli, Christina Mauser, Payton Chester, and Sarah Chester.
