‘Love & Hip Hop’ Cast News: Star Stevie J Arrested for Owing $1 Million in Child Support

When it comes to the stars of VH1's "Love & Hip Hop" you can always expect loads of drama.

So it's no surprise that even more drama has unfolded for "Love & Hip Hop's" infamous star Stevie J.

TMZ reports that Stevie was arrested in Georgia for not paying child support. Stevie J reportedly owes $1 Million dollars to his baby mama and her children.

Yikes.

The child support money that Stevie J owes is for his two children that he had with ex-girlfriend Carol Antoinette Bennett, according to MadameNoire. The child support agreement between Stevie J and Bennett required Stevie to pay $6,600 per month in 1999 and eventually increased to $8,500. However, Stevie allegedly stopped paying all the way back in 2001. Over time, that has accumulated into over a million dollars in child support debt.

Despite his lack of financial support for his children, MadameNoire reports that, up until his arrest, Stevie J put on a bold front and denied rumors that he and Bennett had any financial issues going on.

"We were in Philly just hanging out with my kids. I had a show in Philly. We chillin', we at the mall with the kids. Me, wife, even baby momma was there, Ms. Bennett. But you know it's all good. But then I see I owe a million and some change!" Stevie J told MadameNoire.

Stevie J continued to say that Bennett's accusations of Stevie J not paying child support is her way of trying to steal the spotlight from the current "Love & Hip Hop" star.

"It's like everybody want their day in the sun, everybody wants to be hot," he concluded.

Stevie's arrest and blatant lie to MadameNoire only fuels the current "Love & Hip Hop" rumor that Stevie J and his wife Joseline are broke.

On the hit VH1 show, Stevie's ex-girlfriend and baby mama Mimi tries to portray Stevie and Joseline as liars who exaggerate on the amount of money they make by renting out mansions and expensive cars.

At first the accusations seemed a bit questionable, but by the looks of how things are unfolding in Stevie J's world, they may in fact be true.
