Everything You Need to Know About 2020 Republican National Convention
This year's Republican National Convention will begin on Aug. 24 and will end on Aug. 27. The convention is set across two cities and these are Charlotte and Washington, D.C.
This year's Republican National Convention is set to begin on Monday in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Pres. Trump is expected to give a speech every night along with other prominent persons who are showing support in his second bid for the presidency.
Pres. Trump announced in June that the party is moving his acceptance speech out of Charlotte because the Democratic state governor did not agree to lift the restrictions if the convention would be held in the state. Later, the Republican party announced that they moved the convention in Jacksonville, Florida.
However, Pres Trump announced recently that Republican Party officials settled his nomination and the convention in Jacksonville will no longer be in Florida because of the increasing number of COVID-19 infections in the state.
