Latino community is the largest minority group in the country that could potentially help a presidential candidate. A new poll showed that Latino men are likely to vote for Pres. Trump.

Both Presidential candidates Donald Trump and Joe Biden are courting the Latino community. They are the largest minority group in the according, according to the obtained data from the Pew Research Center. Whoever between the two will get the support of the almost 32 million Latino eligible voters are more likely to win.

This is the very first time in the U.S. election that the Latino community becomes the centerpiece of the election. It also marks the first time the Latino community has surpassed the African-American communities in terms of eligible voters.

Latino community is described as the "sleeping giant" in the country and they will rise this election to vote so that their voices will be heard. Additionally, aside from 32 million registered Latino voters, there are also around 30 million Hispanic voters across the country.

Moreover, the Latino votes will be the key of the two presidential candidates most especially in states like Arizona and Florida. A new poll showed that Latino men voters are more likely to support and vote for Pres. Donald Trump this upcoming U.S. election, according to a published report in NPR News.

In a recent poll from The New York Times or Sienna College poll, it was found out that Pres. Trump gained the support of Latino men voters compared to presidential candidate Joe Biden. There are other polls also that show the support of Latino men voters to Pres. Trump.

Michelle Mayorga, a New Mexico-based pollster who worked on polls for Equis Research who focused on Latino voters, said "Hispanic men in particular are a swing vote. They are a vote that we have to go and get," Men are more likely to cast their votes.

The poll from Equis Research also revealed that Latino men voters from key swing states Arizona to Nevada show more support to Pres. Trump. Meanwhile, Joe Biden received the support of Latina voters but the margin is just too small.

Mayorga said "Republicans will take a larger margin than maybe they have in the past or enough that it will start to eat into the Democratic margin," He also said that it may sound strange that Latinos are going to support Pres. Trump despite his new immigration policy and rhetoric speech towards the Mexicans.

However, one of the factors seen why Pres. Trump gained the support of Latino men across the country is because of the growing number of Latinos in law enforcement. It can be remembered in the previous report of Latin Post that there are more Latinos in U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Pres. Trump and his administration have also been serious in courting the community for the past few years. The president even held different conventions along with Latino entrepreneurs and created the Latinos for Trump coalition to unite the largest minority group in the country this upcoming election.
