"Dorado": J Balvin's New Song is Inspired by McDonald's, Latino Community
J Balvin took his McDonald's collaboration to the next level with the launch of his popular meal and releasing a song with the fast-food giant in celebration of the Latino gang.
Latin superstar J Balvin released a song he calls a "musical act," with McDonald's to celebrate the Latino gang, after the launch of his favorite meal - Big Mac (sans pickles), fries (with ketchup), and an Oreo McFlurry.
According to Distractify, "Dorado was released in November and was inspired by J Balvin's previous album named "Colores." The "Un Dia" artist opened up regarding his long-standing love of McDonald's, his plans for 2021, as well as his inspiration behind the song "Dorado" in an exclusive interview with Distractify.
"Dorado" celebrates Latinos from every walk of life, as per Balvin. As he grew up in Colombia, J Bavin remembers seeing McDonald's on TV and in movies. So when Balvin got the offer to collaborate with the fast-food giant, it was a dream come true for him.
"I'm still like, 'Woah. I'm really honored to be the first Latino to make collaboration with McDonald's. It's really special. I grew up with McDonald's. Every time I'm on tour, we're huge fans and we always stop by and get McDonald's," Balvin said of the partnership.
Balvin's song's release wasn't just inspired by the fast-food giant but the Latinx community worldwide.

"Dorado," which means "golden," is an anthem and accompanied by a video showing Balvin in different characters representing and celebrating Latinos from all walks of life. During the one-minute video, J Balvin transforms from a basketball player to an older man to a McDonald's employee and back to himself, waiting for his order in the drive-thru.
Balvin clarified that everyone could enjoy "Dorado" even if a person is not a Latino. You can still feel the vibe and enjoy the song. J Balvin's meal is one-of-a-kind, just like the artist himself. Balvin opted for a McFlurry instead of a go-to drink for a McFlurry to partner his Big Mac and fries.
