Poll: Nearly Half of Americans Want Trump To Run in 2024
Result of the new poll revealed that nearly half of Americans support Pres. Donald Trump if he chooses to run for president in the 2024 U.S. elections.
Pres. Donald Trump will remain as one of the most influential persons in the world even if he concedes in the recent election.
He was already a well-known and respected businessman before he was elected as the 41st President in the country in 2016. It is no longer a surprise anymore that his influence goes beyond his position even after his term.
Pres. Trump and his legal team still continue to file lawsuits in some battleground states alleging widespread manipulation.
Trump and his administration had warned before the election that the mail-in ballots could just lead to some uncertainties during the election.

Meanwhile, some believed that Trump could mount another presidential campaign in 2024. In a new poll conducted by the Hill-HarrisX daily, nearly half of the Americans believed that Pres. Trump should run in the 2024 elections, according to Newsweek.
The poll published on Monday revealed that 47 of registered voters expressed support for Pres. Trump for running again in 2024. Of this number, around 75 percent identified themselves as Republicans while 24 percent identified themselves as Democrats.
The poll was conducted after the election or from Nov. 17 to 19 from a pool of 1,873 registered voters and carried a margin of error of plus or minus 2.26 percentage points.
This is also the time that Pres. Trump and his legal team continue to fight that legal votes should be counted and reviewed.
The U.S. constitution does not allow a president to serve more than two terms with four years each term. However, no provision in the constitution prohibits a person from serving non-consecutive terms as president.
If Trump will run in 2024 and win, he will not be the first person to serve two non-consecutive terms in the U.S. history.
Former President Grover Cleveland served twice non-consecutively as the 22nd and 24th president, from 1885-1889 and 1893-1897.
On the other hand, Pres. Trump and his legal team continue to file lawsuits to delegitimize the recent election because of widespread voter fraud and election tampering.
According to a report in NBC News, at least 36 lawsuits have been filed by Republicans over the election results.
However, around 24 of these have been unable to go forward. An example of this is in Pennsylvania where Joe Biden is projected to have won 50 percent of the vote against Trump's 48.8 percent.
A federal judge decided to dismiss the lawsuit from Trump's legal team on Saturday.
U.S. District Judge Matthew Brann said in his ruling, "Plaintiffs seek to remedy the denial of their votes by invalidating the votes of millions of others. Rather than requesting that their votes be counted, they seek to discredit scores of other votes, but only for one race. This is simply not how the Constitution works."
