Premiere Of 20th Century Fox's "Dark Phoenix" - Red Carpet HOLLYWOOD, CALIFORNIA - JUNE 04: Jennifer Lawrence attends the premiere of 20th Century Fox's "Dark Phoenix" at TCL Chinese Theatre on June 04, 2019 in Hollywood, California.

According to IBT, Lawerence's family farm in Kentucky was burned down in a fire on Friday. The news was confirmed by Camp Hi-Ho, the summer camp, in a Facebook post on Saturday.

The statement said: "It is with the heaviest of hearts that we confirm the news that we lost our barn last night in a horrible fire."

However, the statement confirmed that no people or animals hurt, and they are thankful for it despite the loss of years of hard work and memories it has that they mourned. They thank the Simpsonville Fire Department and other firefighters who responded to the emergency.

At the same time, the camp expressed their gratitude to all those who reached out to them to offer support. They revealed that they are planning to rebuild the place for summer.

On Friday night, the Simpsonville Fire Department received a call. They were assisted by the Shelby County and South Oldham fire departments. It took more than an hour to put out the flames, and almost 30 firefighters and a half dozen fire trucks were needed to finish the task.

One of the things that made extinguishing the fire more challenging was the water supply in the rural area, Bobby Cravens, Simpsonville assistant fire chief, told WLKY News. The Simpsonville Fire and Rescue and the Kentucky State Fire Marshall are still investigating the fire's cause.

Meanwhile, TMZ reported that Blaine Lawrence, Lawrence's brother, owner, and director of Camp Hi-Ho, sent an email to past campers' parents detailing what was destroyed in the fire.

It says that the office space and an apartment that their family often used were affected. The massive structure had become home to myriad camp activities for kids over the years. Blaine seeks donations to rebuild the family farm as the barn was far more than a place to house animals, TMZ reported.
