Interview with Entrepreneur Diego Alexis Gonzalez Gomez
Diego alexis gonzalez gomez a world-famous Miami based Entrepreneur. He has become a leader in the Real Estate industry and a young successful business tycoon within a few years.
Since the beginning, Diego showed qualities of being a high-performing entrepreneur. Born in 1994, in Mexico, he was a part of professional soccer team in Mexico until he finished his high school and then he moved to Miami where he completed his education from the Florida International University. As he grew up, he was still at crossroads to decide which route to take to enter the vast world of entrepreneurship and that's when he saw a boom in the real estate and exotic car rental sector and chose to move forward in these two fields. Currently, he owns a few supercars and Villas in Miami.
Diego wear multiple hats rather than having any single, definitive role. He deals with a lot of the day-to-day work at his real Estate office as well as handling the international sales, marketing and business development of his car rental company.
What is your advice for other Miami Real Estate Agents?
Have confidence, be driven and passionate and don't take it as a 9 to 5 job. A lot of new real estate brokers want easy money and flexibility. None of the top-producers I know have a flexible schedule nor do they work half days. It is a every day, all day kind of job that needs a lot of personal investment and commitment.
What do buyers want in a home now in the Covid world? Has that changed?
Wealthy clients have always wanted and demanded a great view, large grounds and privacy. What I've seen change is where the buyers are coming from, and an additional shift to wanting more land and more space.
How do you maintain relationship with your clients?
I believe in transparency and truth. It builds trust and trust is what helps in making long term relationship with clients.
What's the worst advice you ever took?
I think the worst thing is taking advice from people who are not doing well in the business. There are a lot of real estate brokers out there who aren't making any money and they can be pretty sour on the whole industry. That negative energy will drag you down if you let it. There is still a lot of money to be made in this market.
