Justin Bieber Accepts Plea Deal in DUI Case
Things are certainly looking up for Justin Bieber.
After dealing with his racist video scandal for the past week and a half and later having his friends come to his defense, Bieber is getting some more good luck thrown his way.
The 20-year-old pop star will reportedly cop a plea deal for his Miami DUI case, according to TMZ.
Last January, the Biebs was arrested in Miami Beach on suspicion of drag racing while intoxicated. However, reports later revealed that Bieber wasn't drunk, and he wasn't he drag racing. He did, however, test positive for marijuana.
In any case, to make the DUI charges go away, Bieber will plead guilty to reckless driving. The plea deal also requires Bieber to pay a fine and attend anger management classes. Perhaps the biggest sigh of relief for Justin Bieber in his plea deal is that he will not be placed on probation.
Bieber's friend, Kahlil who was with the Biebs on the night of the incident will also cop the same plea deal as Justin Bieber minus the anger management classes.
TMZ reported that once Bieber and Khalil complete the requirements of the settlement, the reckless driving conviction will be wiped from their record.
Talk about a nice settlement.
Though Bieber's DUI case has been settled, he must still deal with his egg vandalism case that is still pending, according to the LA Times.
In regards to the egging incident, Bieber faces a possible felony vandalism charge that resulted in $20,000 worth of damage to his Calabasas neighbor's house.
Naturally, Bieber's team is denying any wrongdoing on Bieber's part, but police claim that Bieber was caught on surveillance video footage allegedly high-fiving his friends following the incident.
Bieber has since moved out of the Calabasas home and currently lives in Atlanta.
Will Bieber cop a plea deal for this incident too? Well, we will just have to wait and see.
