Mother Accused of Shooting, Killing Two Daughters at Home
A woman has been alleged of shooting her two daughters inside their home at Ambridge on Monday, according to Ambridge police.
The shooting happened at Maplewood Ave. Police said that they found inside the home two women dead. An adult female, later identified as Krisinda Bright, 48.
Bright was arrested for shooting, according to Interim Chief John Deluca. Deluca said, the suspect was the one who actually called 911, according to a WPXI News report.
Bright is facing two counts of homicide. She is currently held at Beaver County Jail without bond.

The Incident
Deluca said that when they arrived, they found two people dead inside a home, calling it a "gruesome scene," according to a CBS News report.
Bright called 911 after the shooting to report the crimes. Officials said that she let them into the home and that is when the police found two bodies in two different rooms.
The Beaver County coroner identified the victims as 16-year-old Kiara Bright and 22-year-old Jasmine Cannady. The coroner said that they were both shot in the head.
Police confirms they are not looking for another suspect. The motive behind the crime remains unclear.
Meanwhile, authorities closed the block to further investigate. Meanwhile, one witness who rode by on his bike earlier said he spotted a woman on the porch of a home being handcuffed by the police.
Another witness says that she was walking her son's friend home from a sleepover when all of this happened.
"I said, 'Is it safe for us to walk him home?' and they said, 'We have to escort you'" Rachel Kruze was quoted on a report.
Kruze then said that she asked if there was something wrong.
Pennsylvania Crime Rates
Pennsylvania crime statistics decreased, according to a data from 17 years when violent crime was decreasing and property crime was decreasing.
The crime rates in Pennsylvania is expected to be lower this 2021 as compared to 2016, according to a City Rating report.
In 2016, the state's violent crime rate was lower than the national average by 20.32 percent, while national property crime rate average was by 28.89 percent.
Gun injuries ranks second to the top cause of death in U.S. among children and teens, while this is the top cause of death among high-school students, according to a 2019 study of Center for Violence Prevention.
In addition, there are more than 393 million guns in circulation in the United States, with around 120.5 guns for every 100 people. More than 1.7 million children live with unlocked, loaded guns, with 1 out of 3 homes with kids having guns.
In addition, it was found that people that die from accidental shooting were more than three times as likely to live in a home with a firearm. With this, 85 percent are killed in their own home when int comes to younger children who are killed by a firearm.
There were also higher rates of child deaths to firearms in states with increased gun availability, with one of three homes with guns and children are kept loaded and unloacked.
