Mike Pence Signs a Book Deal Amounting to $3-4 Million
Former Vice President Mike Pence signed a $3 million to $4 million book deal on Wednesday with Simon and Schuster. The book is set to narrate stories of Mike Pence's tenure under the Trump White House Administration, according to a New York Post report.
Pence is known to be a considered frontrunner of the Republican party for the 2024 Presidential Elections. However, former President Trump is also speculated to run for the same position, according to a report from Mail Online.

Mike Pence on His Book Deal
The tentative release date of Mike Pence's book is set to be 2023. Pence's signing on the two book deals marks Dana Canedy's acquisition of world rights, first serial rights, and audio rights from Dabid Vigiliano and Thomas Flannery from Vigiliano Associates, according to a press release by Simon and Schuster. Dana Canedy is the Senior Vice President and Publisher of the publishing house where Pence has given his signature.
"His revelatory autobiography will be the definitive book on one of the most consequential presidencies in American history," said Canedy. Canedy noted that the book will cover the life, work, and journey of Mike Pence as a public servant.
The book is also said to cover Mike Pence's political trajectory, with insights on the movements regarding the 2016 presidential race until President Biden's inauguration.
"I am grateful to have the opportunity to tell the story of my life in public service to the American people," said former Vice President Mike Pence. Pence added that he will be sharing his journey from Congress to becoming the vice president of the United States.
The announcement of Mike Pence's book follows his another announcement that he will be launching a conservative advocacy group. Advancing American Freedom is the name of the advocacy group that will "defend and build upon a successful policy of the Trump-Pence Administration."

Meanwhile, other Trump Administration alumni and Former President Trump himself have not yet signed any book deal. However, a Trump book would likely be an instant best-seller, according to a report from Ex Bulletin.
In an interview with Ex Bulletin, a publisher who expressed an opinion in anonymity said that publishing a book with Donald Trump is a "right thing to do" because as a professional, you hear what "someone has to say." The publisher added that it would be hard to resist taking a book about Trump.
Mike Pence and Former President Donald Trump had publicized falling out amidst their last week as an administration. However, on Wednesday, Pence said that he did not divorce himself from the Trumpworld. The comment was made by Pence before the announcement of his book deal. Moreover, Mike Pence is also known for his enduring loyalty towards former President Donald Trump until Trump claimed that the 2020 elections were a fraud.
Aside from Mike Pence, other former Trump officials like John Bolton and Sarah Huckabee Sanders have published their books with the big houses.
