Sometimes, I end up juggling my social media and interactions with my fanbase while needing to run my three clinics and perform procedures. If I don't plan correctly, I'd never be able to accomplish even half of the things that I do," he says.
He emphasizes that it's better to aim for steady growth than to stretch oneself thin and crash. "You also need to understand that, as a business owner, you need to have a team. At first, you may work alone. Then, you may add a small team, but as you progress, your team needs to be evolving with you. Another thing is that, in 2021, the concept of team isn't what it was 50 years ago. You may have various team members come in whenever needed. Some may work online or even be in other countries. The point is that you don't need your team to be physically next to you all the time," he shares. Dr. Ahmed wants aspiring business owners to know that they can have a team without the pressure of hiring multiple dozens of people and needing to direct them on a daily basis.
