A New Mexico man tied to Aryan Brotherhood was arrested after leaving a car with three dead men in front of a hospital on Wednesday. New York Daily News reported that the authorities arrested the man in connection to "triple homicide."

Inmate records show from Bernalillo County revealed that the suspect, identified as Richard Kuykendall, 41 years old, was booked early Saturday, NBC News reported. Kuykendall was reported to have a criminal history. New York Daily News noted that the suspect had at least 35 arrests in New Mexico and Massachusetts, including forgery, identity theft, larceny, assault and battery of a family member, as well as assault with a baseball bat.

The Suspect

A complaint was filed by the authorities on Friday in the U.S. District Court of New Mexico. Kuykendall was charged with being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition for his role.

Prosecutors revealed that Kuykendall was caught in a shootout. Security footage showed that Kuykendall was walking in Albuquerque alley when suddenly a Chevy pulled in, and Kuykendall tried to get in. However, someone inside the vehicle fired several shots at the New Mexico man, which led him to duck as the shots continue. The video mentioned by the prosecutors did not show that Kuykendall fired back.

After the shots stopped, Kuykendall was seen shutting himself inside the said car. He then gets out and stays in a dumpster for a moment, eventually going back to the car. Authorities found a Beretta 9mm pistol in the dumpster where Kuykendall was seen stopping. A loaded pistol was also found under the driver seat, an empty pistol in the back seat, and multiple shell casing throughout the car.

The Three Men Inside the Car

The complaint furthered that all three men were declared deceased. Furthermore, tattoos on Kuykendall and the three dead men inside the car made prosecutors believe that all four of them are connected to the Aryan brotherhood. After which, the three dead men inside the car were identified as BT, JF, and MS, and were verified members of the Aryan Brotherhood prison gang, NBC News noted.

Despite the death of the three men, FBI Special Agent Bryan Acee noted that he does not believe that Kuykendall was responsible for the three deaths, noting that the New Mexico man was only responsible for at least one death. Kuykendall was not charged with the deaths of any of the three men.

What is the Aryan Brotherhood?

The Aryan Brotherhood is known as the country's oldest major white supremacists' gang and national crime syndicate. NBC News underscored that the group was formed by Irish inmates to fight Black inmates in San Quentin State Prison in California.

Agent Acee also noted that the Aryan Brotherhood requires members on the street to remain loyal and follow all the orders of higher rank members.
