The Brooklyn Nets showed what they are made of as they display their offensive firepower, dominating Game 2 of their first-round best-of-seven series against the Boston Celtics in the Playoffs, 130-108, Barclays Center.

After taking a 14-point lead in the first minutes of the action, the squad of Kevin Durant did not look back, as they cruised their way to victory in a dominating fashion. The Nets proved to the league that adding James Harden and Blake Griffin to their roster will not be a problem for them.

According to CBS Sports, the Brooklyn Nets trio -- Durant, Harden, and Kyrie Irving -- dropped a total of 61 points, 18 assists, and 19 rebounds to establish the early lead. Aside from their main stars, two players from the Nets' starting lineup contributed major numbers. Shooting guard Joe Harris drilled seven 3-pointers and finished with 25 points while Big man Blake Griffin had 11 points, four assists, with three rebounds.

Three-Point Barrage

Joe Harris tied the Nets franchise playoff record with seven 3-pointers. He also had his career playoff-high 25 points as he leads the Nets in unleashing daggers beyond the arc. Harris went 4 for 4 behind the arc in the opening period of Game 2.

In addition, Harris also showed his versatility on the floor. After stealing the ball and dribbling down on a breakaway, he fakes a pull-up behind the arc, but he went all the way for the layup to extend the lead to 14, The Score reported.

Meanwhile, after the Brooklyn Nets leaned on their defense in their opening match against the Celtics, but in game 2 the Nets squad launched their offensive prowess. Kyrie Irving also dropped 15 points, six rebounds, and six assists for the Nets, Forbes reported.

On Monday, Nets coach Steve Nash stated that he thought it might be a while before his three stars could walk on the court and firing on all cylinders.

While good things went for the stars of the Brooklyn Nets, the opposite could be said about the way that Boston's most notable players performed. Celtics main man Jayson Tatum had another rough shooting night. Tatum finished the game with only nine points on just 3-for-12 shooting before he left the floor with just 21 minutes when he was poked in the right eye.

Also, if Marcus Smart has not gotten hot from beyond the arc in the third period, the final score of Game 2 could have looked much worse. Smart tallied 19 points, 6 assists, and 3 rebounds, and led the Celtics in scoring despite not reaching the 20-point mark. Kemba Walker had 17 for the Celtics.

The scene will be shifted to Boston as the Celtics will host Game 3 on Friday night. The opening tip is scheduled for 8:30 p.m., as the Celtics look to bounce back in the series.

The Nets shot 52.3%, 44.7% beyond the arc, and 95.5% in the charity stripe. They also shared the ball well, finishing as a team with a total of 31 assists in the game.
