Shakira Posts Look-Alike Son on Instagram
It can be considered rare that Shakira posts her sons on her Instagram account. Shakira's son Sasha wowed the 70.2 million followers of his mom on Instagram, as he smiled at the camera in a wetsuit with his friends. Sasha was wearing a multicolored Quicksilver wetsuit while posing with a hang-loose sign, as well as his friends and instructors.
People reported that the Colombian singer posted the photo after her youngest completed his first lesson.
"Sasha with his friends and teachers, Kai and Hans, after their first surf lesson," said the translated caption of Shakira on her Instagram post. Meanwhile, the Colombian singer's eldest son, Milan, seemed to not join his little brother in the surfing lessons he attended.
The two instructors who were with Sasha on the photo were Spanish surf champions who Shakira have featured on her Instagram account before posting a snap of his youngest.
But it seems that the Colombian singer's family does not end their love for the ocean by just surfing. Shakira also posted on her Instagram account a clip where her son is giggling with his father when they saw a tiny crab.
"It seems to me that my family hasn't seen many crabs in their lives," captioned Shakira in the video, vowing that she would bring them to the beach more often.
Apart from Sasha's love for the ocean, Shakira also revealed that her youngest also loved photography, as she posted a snap of the Colombian singer taken by Sasha while she was wearing her cute pajamas.
Sasha and Milan are Shakira's sons with her long-time love Gerard Piqué.
Shakira on Parenthood and Career
Although she rarely gave her fans an update about her family, Shakira confirmed that being a mother shifted the "axis" of her universe, adding that being a mother changed her life. In a 2016 Best Life interview, Shakira said being a mother helped her to be more disciplined about "sticking to a schedule."
"Before I was my own boss, but I have to tiny bosses to answer now," said the "Waka-Waka" singer.
But even she already transitioned as a mother, her love for her craft and music did not falter as the Colombian singer's Instagram account was filled with snaps and videos of her performing, dancing, or in a recording studio. Her latest collaboration with Black Eyed Piece called "Girl Like Me" released in the previous year garnered about 426 million views.
Meanwhile, details of when will Shakira release new music are still unknown.
