Amber Heard celebrated being a mom with the birth of her baby girl, Oonagh Paige, via a surrogate - a few months after her former husband Johnny Depp lost his libel case involving her.
The actress took to Instagram to announce to her nearly 4 million fans the arrival of her baby daughter, saying she's "the beginning of the rest of my life."
Amber Heard shared the news about her baby on Thursday, July 1, by posting a photo of her and Oonagh Paige on her chest. The actress said she was "very excited" to share the news about her baby girl.

Amber Heard Loves Her Baby Girl Oonagh Paige
Amber Heard's friends told Page Six that the actress had her daughter through a surrogate after being told that she cannot have her own baby.
An unnamed source also told the outlet that Amber Heard was "beyond in love" with her baby girl named after the actress' late mother, Paige. A source close to the actress described Oonagh Paige as "gorgeous," and the actress is obsessed with her.
The source noted that the actress "always knew that she wanted to be a mom, and this is her greatest wish come true."
"There are so many women who feel they can't talk about their fertility and are worried and embarrassed... Amber wants them to feel supported and realize that there are a multitude of ways to have a baby even if you have fertility issues," the source added.
Amber Heard said in her photo caption that she hopes that one day it would be normal to "not want a ring in order to have a crib." She added that she has decided to have a child four years ago on her own terms.
Johnny Depp Lost to the Libel Case Involving Amber Heard
Oonagh Paige came to Heard's life months after the actress got involved with the libel case of her former husband, Johnny Depp, against a British newspaper.
It can be recalled that Johnny Depp sued "The Sun" and its executive editor, Dan Wootton, after he was labeled as a "wife-beater" in the paper's 2018 headline.
During a trial, Johnny Depp accused Amber Heard of being the "abusive one," arguing that the actress faked photos to make it look like he injured his ex-wife.
Johnny Depp further noted that the actress came into his life and took everything that "worth taking" and allegedly destroyed what was remained in his life.
Despite his claims, the actor lost to the libel case, and the judge concluded that the Hollywood superstar "regularly beat" her ex-wife Amber Heard.
"I accept her evidence of the nature of the assaults he [Johnny Depp] committed against her," said London High Court Judge Andrew Nicol, adding that the actor put Heard in "fear for her life" a few times.
Nicol also did not but to the "Pirates of the Caribbean" star's alibi claiming that Heard was a "gold digger" and lied in donating millions of their divorce settlement to charity.
As Johnny Depp lost to his libel case, the actor's legal team labeled London's judge decision as perverse and bewildering.
