Meghan Markle's half-brother, Thomas Markle Jr, had something to say during Australia's Big Brother VIP trailer.
The show on its Twitter page uploaded the short video clip of the trailer. Thomas is the first celebrity contestant to be introduced.
He took the opportunity to take aim at his little sister, recalling an alleged conversation with Prince Harry, wherein he told the prince that he thinks Meghan is going to ruin his life, adding that Meghan is very shallow, according to an Entertainment Online report.
The show also features other stars in the series, such as Caitlyn Jenner and Omarosa Manigault Newman.
Meghan Markle's Family Dispute
Before the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's royal wedding in 2018, Thomas had sent a handwritten letter to Harry, warning the prince that it was not too late to turn back, according to a Page Six report.
Thomas, who had shared a name with their father, also wrote that Meghan was obviously not the right woman for Harry.
He also alleged that the Suits star was acting the part of a princess "like a below C average Hollywood actress."
Thomas Jr. and his sister, Samantha Markle, were not invited to Meghan's wedding. They had also been outspoken about their estrangement with their half-sister.
In 2019, he had been part of a beer ad with a Meghan look-alike. The ad had shown him attempting to rob Buckingham Palace of Queen Elizabeth II's crown, only to pick the beer instead.
He said at the time that he does not think anyone would be upset by it. Thomas Jr. added that he does not believe it is going to puss anyone off.
Thomas Jr. said that the time that he thinks, the family's ongoing feud got ignored and swept under the carpet for so long, according to a U.S. Magazine report.
He noted that it was a shame where it has ended up, particularly between Meghan and their father.
Thomas Jr. also commented on Meghan's relationship with their father. He said that he does not think that their father deserves that kind of treatment from Meghan.
Meanwhile, the Sussex family might have a chance of mending their relationship with the rest of the royal family through the help of Princess Eugenie, according to a Marie Claire report.
Eugenie was reportedly the "peacekeeper" between Meghan and Harry and the rest of the family.
A royal insider from the Telegraph said that Eugenie knows the two better than any of the royals in a way. The source added that Eugenie was there from the beginning.
Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank have been staying in the Sussexes' U.K. home, the Frogmore Cottage.
Harry had stayed with Eugenie and Jack at Frogmore Cottage during his recent two trips back to the United Kingdom.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex live in California after deciding to step away from their royal duties.
