Kim Kardashian Reveals What Led Her to Divorce Kanye West and Why She's Not Taking Him Back Even After He 'Begs'
Kim Kardashian finally revealed what led to her divorce from Kanye West despite sharing four beautiful kids.
The "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star said in an interview for Vogue's March 2022 cover story that the reason behind the ending of her marriage with Kanye was because she chose herself.
"I think in the last two years I decided, I'm going to make myself happy. And that feels really good. And even if that created changes and caused my divorce, I think it's important to be honest with yourself about what really makes you happy," Kim noted.
The reality star, 41, said she chose herself after making other people happy "for so long," adding that she thinks "it's okay to choose you."
Kim further noted that being in the 40s was all about "being Team Me" and being the best version of herself, E! News reported.
The SKIMS founder said she would eat well, exercise, and have more fun. Kim added that she would spend more time with her kids and the people who make her happy.
Kanye West Begs God to Help Him Reunite With Kim Kardashian and Kids
Kanye West has posted on Instagram a collage of photos from Kim Kardashian's Vogue photo shoot. In his caption, the rapper begged God to help him reunite with his estranged wife and children, Page Six reported.
"GOD PLEASE BRING OUR FAMILY BACK TOGETHER," Kanye wrote.
Kanye's latest post came after he recently wiped his Instagram feed of all previous allegations he made about Kim, including that she was keeping his children from him.
Last Sunday, the rapper slammed Kim for accusing him of sending a death threat. He also accused Kim of "kidnapping" their daughter Chicago after fighting over their daughter North's appearance on TikTok.
Kanye claimed that Kim kidnapped Chicago "on her birthday by not providing the address" to her party.
Kim Kardashian Speaks Optimistically About Co-Parenting
In Vogue's March cover story, Kim Kardashian has spoken optimistically about co-parenting. She said a parent "could be so hurt or angry at your ex," but in front of kids, "it always has to be 'Your dad's the best."
"Make sure you are your co-parent's biggest cheerleader, no matter what you're personally going through," Kim noted.
Last week, Kim said that Kanye's "constant attacks" on her in interviews and social media are "more hurtful than any TikTok North might create."
Kim noted that divorce is already difficult for their children, and "Kanye's obsession with trying to control and manipulate our situation so negatively and publicly is only causing further pain for all."
The reality star added that she wanted a healthy and supportive co-parenting relationship for their children, but Kanye West "continues to make it impossible every step of the way."
Last December, Kim made it clear in legal documents that there was no way to fix her marriage to Kanye. In the documents she filed to restore her marital status to single, the reality star noted that "no counseling or reconciliation effort will be of any value at this time."
"Irreconcilable differences have existed and continue to exist between [Kanye West] and me, which have caused our marriage to irretrievably break down," Kim Kardashian said.
The reality star added that she wanted to end the marriage for a while, but Kanye was not accepting it.
