Tom Brady NFL Retirement
Tom Brady announced his retirement from football after 22 seasons, in which he won seven Super Bowl titles.
Many sources noted Brady's decision to retire is based on several factors, including his health and family, according to an ESPN News report.
Don Yee, Brady's agent, delayed commenting on the former quarterback's future at the time. Yee said in a statement that Brady will be the only person to express his plans with complete accuracy.
The Buccaneers tried to make a pitch to sway Brady's decision, asking him to play one more year. However, the Tampa Bay team recognized that the effort is not expected to have an impact.
Buccaneers' coach Bruce Arians earlier said that Brady had not notified him or the team of his plans to retire from his football career.
