Former quarterback Tom Brady's retirement has been surrounded with rumors and possibilities since its announcement, including Brady eyeing a new team to play for.

However, Tampa Bay Buccaneers coach Bruce Arians will not likely facilitate such an attempt, according to an NBC Sports News report.

Rick Stroud, who is covering NFL for Tampa Bay Times, tweeted that Arians was asked if he would accommodate Brady if the former quarterback wants to play for another team.

Arians reportedly said no, adding that it was "bad business."

Arians was asked about the possibility of trading Brady's rights and what the price would be if they were to put him back on the market.

The Buccaneers coach said that it would take "five no. 1s" to put Brady back in the market.

Buccaneers was earlier reported to continue to "leave the light on" if Brady decides he wants to play again.

Arians said during the NFL Scouting Combine that the door is never closed, adding that if Brady wants to come back, "we'll have plenty of money for him," according to NFL News report.

Tom Brady Coming Back to the Field

Arians talked about Brady's possible comeback during the NFL Scouting Combine, saying that the former quarterback "slammed" the door on his potential return when they last spoke.

Arians said of Brady that he had himself convinced that Brady was coming back as every time they meet, Brady felt fantastic, according to a CBS Sports News report.

The Buccaneers coach then told the story that Brady "slammed it shut" when he tried to talk to Brady about his return.

Arians then said that Brady "just likes to have his name out there" just "like a lot of these guys."

He then said that he was surprised by Brady's announcement of his retirement.

The Tampa Bay team's coach said that the Bucs will "do our due diligence" to name a Brady successor.

However, Arians does not necessarily see many veteran starters becoming available via trade with at least at a reasonable price.

Tom Brady Retirement

Brady said in February that he is "happy" with his decision to retire and was looking forward to doing things other than playing football.

But the former quarterback also said to "never say never" when he was asked of a possible return to the NFL next season, according to an ESPN News report.

Brady said on the "Let's Go!" podcast that he feels very good about his decision, but that he does not know how he will feel six months from now.

The NFL legend said that his decision to retire was not about age or injury. He noted that family played a huge part in his decision.

Brady has a number of other ventures he could land after football including a global wellness brand in TB12 that he co-founded with longtime trainer Alex Guerrero in 2013.

In addition, he is currently looking at a football-themed road-trip movie titled "80 for Brady," which will feature Hollywood stars Lily Tomlin, Jane Fonda, Rita Moreno, and Sally Field.

Brady is currently developing the project with Donna Gigliotti and Endeavor Content.
