Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady is not yet done with his NFL career. The veteran QB took to Twitter on Sunday to announce the end of his retirement, saying that his place is not yet on the sidelines of the football field.

"These past two months I've realized my place is still on the field and not in the stands. That time will come. But it's not now," Brady noted.

The football player also said he loves his teammates and family, adding that "they make it all possible.

"I'm coming back for my 23rd season in Tampa. Unfinished business LFG," he added. LFG reportedly stands for "let's (expletive) go."

Despite announcing the end of his retirement, the quarterback did not elaborate on his "unfinished business" in the NFL. As of this writing, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have yet to issue an official statement regarding Tom Brady's announcement.

Tom Brady Retirement Ends: Fans React Following Quarterback's Announcement

Tom Brady's fans quickly reacted to the former Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback's announcement.

One fan shared on Twitter about his previous prediction that Brady has not yet played his "last NFL snap" before he announced his retirement.

Another user posted a photo of a girl bawling and said that is how the rest of the NFL league looked after Brady announced the end of his retirement.

A Packers fan with the handle @CheeseheadTV also posted a video of a man yelling, "it's my turn," as a prediction to Aaron Rodger's reaction following Brady's announcement.

Meanwhile, another netizen posted a video of a man punching the headrest of a passenger seat on a car and quipped that it was how Giselle felt following her husband's announcement.

Tom Brady's announcement of his return to the NFL came weeks after he announced his exit from the league in February. 

At the time, the seven-time Super Bowl champion took to Instagram to post a photo of himself in the Bucs uniform and said it was time to put his "focus" and energy on other things that required his attention.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers Still Hold Tom Brady's Rights for 2022 Season

It was earlier reported that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers still hold Tom Brady's rights for the 2022 season as he has a year remaining on his deal with the team. 

Brady would count for $9.1 million against the team's salary cap, according to Spotrac.
