Trevor Noah 'Heartbroken' to See Kanye West Walking 'Dangerous Path' but Julia Fox Says Ex-BF Is No Danger to Kim Kardashian, Pete Davidson
Trevor Noah has opened up about how he felt after Kanye West hurled a racial slur at him that subsequently got the rapper suspended on Instagram.
According to TMZ, "The Daily Show" host went straight to the source, posting a "compassionate" comment on Kanye's since-deleted post that seeks to deescalate their feud.
Page Six reported that Trevor initially praised Kanye for being a "musical genius" and how the rapper affected his life.
"I thought differently about how I spent my money because of you, I learned to protect my child-like creativity from grown thoughts because of you, s-t I still smile every time I put on a seatbelt because of you," the talk show host said in a screenshot captured by TMZ.
After admitting that the rapper has been an "indelible part" of his life, Trevor continued to say that it "breaks my heart to see you like this."
Trevor noted that he does not care if Kanye supports Donald Trump or roasts Pete Davidson and then added: "I do however care when I see you on a path that's dangerously close to peril and pain."
Trevor urged Kanye to understand the difference between fighting for his family and simply fighting his family. He noted that the latter has often led to tragedy, and he does not want to wake up one day to see a "headline" that the rapper did something terrible.
"If you're just joking about it all and I'm an idiot for caring, then so be it. But I'd rather be the idiot who spoke up and said something to you in life, than the cool guy who said nothing and then mourns for you in prison or the grave," Trevor said.
As for the word "k-n" that Kanye used, Trevor said: "Clearly some people graduate but we still stupid. Don't ever forget, the biggest trick racists ever played on black people was teaching us to strip each other of our blackness whenever we disagree. Tricking us into dividing ourselves up into splinters so that we would never unite into a powerful rod."
Trevor wrapped up his comment with some humor to lighten the mood, saying Kanye's "K-nbaya" play on words was "funny as s-t" and wishes the rapper well, hoping that one day they will "be laughing about this."

Kanye West Throws Racial Slur at Trevor Noah
Kanye West blasted Trevor Noah for issuing a warning during his show that the online fight between the rapper and his ex-wife Kim Kardashian could get violent and was "terrifying to watch."
The talk show host added that Kanye, over time, "has become more and more belligerent in how he tries to get Kim back."
Trevor also asked the public to stop making light of Kim and Kanye's situation saying, "Do we wish to stand by and watch a car crash when we thought we saw it coming?" "What [Kim is] going through is terrifying to watch, and it shines a spotlight on what so many women go through when they choose to leave."
Trevor added: "What we're seeing is one of the most powerful, one of the richest women in the world, unable to get her ex to stop texting her, to stop chasing after her, to stop harassing her."
In response, Kanye posted images of Trevor on Instagram and said: "All in together now... K**n baya my lord k**n baya." The racist post appears to have been deleted.
Kanye's Instagram account was suspended for 24 hours on Wednesday for violating the social media platform's hate speech, bullying, and harassment policies. Now that the account has been flagged, additional steps will be taken if further violations occur.
Apart from Trevor, Kanye also posted a series of attacks on Kim and her boyfriend, Pete Davidson, before he was suspended on Instagram. He has also attacked D.L. Hughley and Pete's writing partner, Dave Sirus.
On Wednesday, Kanye told the world via Instagram that he worries that Pete will get Kim "hooked on drugs." He also posted another attack on Pete by posting a photo of a news headline saying that the SNL comedian "enrages" an audience with jokes about having sex with a baby.
Kanye also posted an image of D.L. in fatigues and said: "This grown ass man picked this outfit out himself Is he influential or under the influence???"
The rapper also posted a picture of "Saturday Night Live" writer Dave and wrote in the caption: "Come on Dave please help write some more culturally irrelevant jokes for SKETE You don't have to have talent these days you just need a Hillary Clinton tattoo."
Julia Fox Defends Kanye West, Says Ex-Boyfriend Poses 'No Real Threat'
Julia Fox has said that Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson should not be worried, claiming that the rapper poses no real danger to them. The actress told TMZ that Kanye West would not hurt a fly or Pete because he's pretty harmless.
"No, no no no, Kanye's harmless... I just think that's his artistic creative expression. I just think that's his artistic creative expression. I know it's aggressive, but I really don't... think if it really came down to it, I don't think Kanye would hurt a fly," said Fox, who briefly dated the rapper earlier this year, as Complex reported.
When asked if the rapper poses a danger to himself, Fox said she was not sure, but she would give him a call to find out.
Julia Fox and Kanye West first met in late 2021, and by January, they confirmed they were dating. But a month later, the actress confirmed they had split.
