HBO 'True Blood' Season 7 Trailer, Start Date & Spoilers: Episode 1 Airs July 7 in UK [Video]
Season 7 of "True Blood" started at 9 p.m. Sunday on HBO. Angela Robinson wrote the first episode, "Jesus Gonna Be Here," and Stephen Moyer directed. The seventh and final season has 10 episodes.
Spoilers
A major character dies in the first episode, and that highlights the nature of the feud between Bon Temps and H-vamps. Human-vampire relationships, particularly between Bill and Sookie, are back this season.
The vampires' hepatitis V infections weaken them, forcing them to eat differently -- they need to drink human blood more often, and in larger quantities. Season 7 will also see the vampires being more organized and capitalizing on their mental acuity.
Other things to expect in Season 7 of "True Blood" include the people the H-vamps bring into the basement of Fangtasia, the people's uprising against the vampires, Sookie's discovery of an H-vamp-looted town, Pam chilling out in Morocco and Nathan Parsons playing James, Jessica's boyfriend.
Expect more twists and turns from the last season of "True Blood," which starts at 9 p.m. July 7 in the UK on Fox.
