Chris Watts House Has People Eyeing to Buy It After Murdering His Wife Shanann Watts and Daughters; Lawyer Says It's 'Morbid Curiosity'
Chris Watts has a lot of people vying for the sale of his house, with interested buyers being as far away as Germany calling every week to ask about the Colorado home where he murdered his wife Shanann Watts and two young daughters.
Bankruptcy lawyer Clark Dray said that it was hard for him to say what it is about, adding that some of it are "morbid curiosity," according to an Independent report.
Dray added that some of it are just people having a difficult time getting a home in this market.
Meanwhile, residents of the neighborhood in the quiet subdivision in Colorado are tired of the attention the area is getting. Some have already sold their houses and left.
One neighbor who moved in after the Watts murders in 2018 said that they are sick of it.
Some neighbors innocently gave interviews about the Watts murder case and were "hounded," which prompted them to flee the area.

Christ Watts 'Murder' House
In 2020, the Watts "murder" house was taken off the market amid the Netflix documentary shedding light into the case and has scared away possible buyers, according to The U.S. Sun News report.
It was reported that the Watts house was put up for auction. However, no one would buy it.
The property was left on the market for the whole year, then was pulled off after it did not sell.
Watts is still the technical owner as the house remains vacant.
Dray said that it was not getting any bids at the time as people know the history of the house, and nobody wants to purchase it.
In May 2013, the Watts family bought the five-bedroom property for $399,954. The Realtor now estimated it to be worth nearly $648,100.
However, if the house sells, it is estimated to be for far less than what it is valued due to the murder that took place in the house.
Watts Family Murder
Chris and Shanan got married on Nov. 3, 2012, and welcomed their first daughter, Bella on Dec. 17, 2013.
The couple welcomed their second daughter, Cece, on July 17, 2015, according to an E Online News report.
Shanann was pregnant with their third child, a boy, who they were going to name Nico. It was during that time that Watts killed his whole family.
Watts, later on, told police that if he was thinking, "this wouldn't have happened," referring to the murder.
He was charged with three counts of first-degree murder, plus two counts of murder of a child younger than 12 while being "in a position of trust."
Watts was also charged with three counts of tampering with a deceased human body and unlawful termination of a pregnancy.
He admitted to investigators that he had been having an affair with co-worker Nichol Kessinger, with the two meeting in June 2018.
Watts said that he stayed with her almost every night while his wife and children were in North Caroline for weeks visiting Shanann's family.
