Hunter Biden was on the board position with Ukrainian gas company Burisma Holdings in April 2014. It was one month after Russia invaded the Ukrainian peninsula of Crimea.
At the time, his father was the vice president of the United States. According to Newsweek, Joe Biden led the administration's response and pressured the Ukrainian government to fire a prosecutor who was not doing enough to fight corruption.
