Lakers star player LeBron James has faced a Michael Jordan trolling during the Champions League final game between Real Madrid and Liverpool.

Fox News reported that Real Madrid fans shouted "Michael Jordan better!" at James, who attended the Champions League Final between Real Madrid and Liverpool on Saturday in Paris.

James was spotted at Stade de France wearing a suit and drinking a glass of wine. The NBA star arrived late and some fans on Twitter are blaming him for getting the game delayed by over 30 minutes. However, the venue was to blame over poor organization, according to a MARCA News report.

The delay in the game has nothing to do with James and more with the mayhem outside the gates involving Liverpool fans.

James and Jordan were not the only basketball stars linked to the match.

Dallas Mavericks Luka Doncic also shared his thoughts regarding the game on Twitter, saying it was nice to be a Real Madrid fan.

Champions League Game

Twitter is calling LeBron James "LeJinx," not only because he tweeted Liverpool fans not to start in the game without him, but due to the Reds losing the game in his presence.

James watched the game with Maverick Carter and Paul Rivera, two of his business associates.

The Lakers player has gained a reputation of jinxing the teams or athletes which he praises on Twitter.

Luka Doncic, meanwhile, celebrated Real Madrid's win on Twitter. He played basketball for Real Madrid and has been following the soccer club throughout their entire UCL title run.

James got a chance to travel the world and watch soccer matches, with Los Angeles Lakers failing to qualify for the playoffs, which was considered Lakers to be this "season's biggest flop.'

Real Madrid Beats Liverpool

Real Madrid became European champions for a record-extending 14th time after beating Liverpool 1-0 in a Champions League final that started 37 minutes late due to disturbing crowd issues outside the State de France near Paris.

The English team could not find a way past Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois, as reported by Aljazeera.

Courtois tipped Sadio Mane's first-half shot onto the post and produced an even better save to turn away Mohamed Salah's effort in the 81st minute.

Courtois said that he was going to win a Champions League no matter what.

Madrid has solidified its status as the king of European football, with the Spanish giant owning double the number of European Cups as No. 2 on the list. Liverpool stayed in the sixth spot.

Liverpool Football Club has also requested a formal investigation into the scenes that smeared the Champions League finals in Paris.

The game was delayed by over 35 minutes after Liverpool fans struggled to enter the stadium despite many arriving hours before the start.

French police used tear gas on supporters as fans were held in tightly packed areas around the stadium, causing safety fears.

Liverpool said in a statement in a CNN report that they are hugely disappointed at the stadium entry issues and the breakdown of the security perimeter.
