Tony Siragusa Dead at 55: How Did the Former NFL Star Die?
NFL star and TV personality Tony Siragusa passed away on Wednesday at the age of 55.
According to Aaron Wilson of Pro Football Network, the longtime NFL player, who played as Ravens' defensive tackle, died in his sleep.
Siragusa's death was the second tragic loss for the Ravens family, as the team also announced earlier today that their linebacker, Jaylon Furguson, 26 years old, had also passed away, according to New York Post.

Tony Siragusa Cause of Death: NFL World Reacts on the Death of the Athlete
It was not immediately clear what caused Siragusa's death. However, he revealed a health condition that his family has during an interview with Howard Stern in 2012, where he shared that his father died of a heart attack when he was 48 years old and passed away in his presence. He then pointed out that heart disease also runs in his family.
During the interview, Siragusa emphasized that he told his wife to play a Frank Sinatra song and put a smile on his face when he dies.
Siragusa's death on Wednesday prompted the NFL world to extend their thoughts on Twitter.
Former NFL tight end Dorin Dickerson cannot believe that Siragusa was already dead, asking people to tell him the tragic news about the former NFL player was a "hoax."
Meanwhile, former Ravens teammate Brad Jackson said Siragusa "meant everything" to everyone. "It's a sad day. I just talked to him on Sunday. It's terrible," Jackson added.
Reporter Josh Carney sympathized with the Ravens on Wednesday, saying it was a "tragic day for them."
"Losing Jaylon Ferguson and Tony Siragusa on the same day is so heartbreaking. Praying for that franchise, its fans, and the families of Jaylon and Tony," Carney further noted.
Radio Host Jason La Corta also hopped in to describe Ravens' day as a "tremendously sad day" after the death of Siragusa and Ferguson.
Tony Siragusa Dead: Get to Know the Former NFL Player
Tony Siragusa, also known as "Goose" in the field, spent at least 12 years in NFL with the Colts and Ravens.
According to The Spun, Siragusa broke into the NFL ranks as an undrafted free agent for the Indianapolis Colts in 1990. In 1997, Goose made his way to Baltimore Raven 1997 and became the team's key member in the defensive unit in 2000.
One of the highlights of his career in the sport is when the Baltimore Ravens won the Super Bowl XXXV in 2001, where Siragusa played alongside Ray Lewis, Rod Woodson, and Chris McAlister.
After his career in NFL, Siragusa utilized his larger-than-life personality as a sideline reporter for "Fox Sports."
The former NFL player also appeared as "Frankie Cortese" on the hit television show "the Sopranos."
