Calling all wizards and adventurers, the official "Dungeons and Dragons: Honors Among Thieves" trailer drops at San Diego Comic-Con 2022!
"Wonder Woman's" Chris Pine and "Bridgerton's" Regé-Jean Page is bringing the magical and mystical board fantasy board game to life in the new film series reboot.
Set for release on March next year, "Dungeons and Dragons: Honors Among Thieves" is the first huge trailer that debuted at the San Diego Comic-Con 2022, the first in-person conference in the past two years.

Debuting from the first major panel of San Diego Comic-Con on Thursday, the "Dungeons and Dragons: Honors Among Thieves" trailer unleashes a new kind of promise for the film franchise.
Fans are visibly pleased with the trailer's comment section on Youtube, noting that the animation exceeded their initial expectations.
"This trailer is FULL of D&D spells, creatures, and locations straight out of the books. It is full of Fan service. This is how Fan IPs should be made," a fan commented.
With over a million views already, the Chris Pine-led movie also brings out a few fan-favorite actors from different science fiction shows.
Dungeons and Dragons: Honors Among Thieves' Cast
Chris Pine is no stranger to action-fantasy roles; with "Star Trek" and "Wonder Woman" flicks on his belt, he is expected to slay dragons as Elgin.
"Fast and Furious" alum Michelle Rodriguez will be playing the Barbarian Holga, while "Pokemon: Detective Pikachu" star Justice Smith is this movie's Sorcerer named Simon.
After his breakout role in "Bridgerton," Regé-Jean Page will be unsheathing his sword as a Xenk the Paladin, while "It's" Sophia Lillis plays Doric the Druid.
Meanwhile, the "Dungeons and Dragons'" big baddie, Forge Fletcher, will be played by Golden Globe awardee Hugh Grant.
Only Pine, Lillis, Page, Grant, and Rodriguez were present at the San Diego Comic-Con 2022 panel last Thursday, but their on-screen chemistry is translated into their real-life banter.

"Dungeons and Dragons: Honors Among Thieves" was among the first major panels on the San Diego Comic-Con 2022 on its first day, USA Today reports.
Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley co-wrote and co-directed the reboot of the fantasy game series. The latter, who is a self-confessed D&D geek, said that the inspiration for the film was to evoke "the feeling of playing the game."
Resident Evil actress Michelle Rodriguez was sent into a nostalgic daze as hse looked back on her childhood in New Jersey playing the hit board game.
As for Page, his dreams of finally swinging a sword for a living came to life after undergoing a bunch of training first.
Chris Pine, on the other hand, only knew Dungeons and Dragons until only recently, while Hugh Grant gushes on his first-ever appearance at Comic-Con.
"Dungeons and Dragons: Heroes Among Thieves" is getting a theatrical release in the United States on Mar. 3, 2023.
