Despite her ongoing criminal tax fraud case, Colombian superstar Shakira showed no signs of worry. On Tuesday, she was spotted with her kids at Miami airport.

The Daily Mail released some photos of the "Girl Like Me" singer and her two sons, whom she shares with ex-partner Spanish football star Gerard Pique, as they made their way through the airport.

The Colombian pop star and her kids were seen walking hand-in-hand. Shakira sported a peach summer dress with white espadrille platforms and a matching peach purse looped over her wrist.

Shakira's kids wore matching outfits: red T-shirts and black shorts with athletic sneakers. At one point, Sasha was reportedly seen giving his mother a kiss on her hand.

The "Whenever, Wherever" singer's public appearance at the airport came after she was warned that she could be jailed for up to eight years if she was found guilty of an alleged $15.5 million tax fraud.

Shakira Goes to Dodgers Game Without Gerard Pique

Shakira posted an update on her Instagram about their trip to Los Angeles. The "Hips Don't Lie" singer posted a photo of her with three baseball players on the field next to her children, who are wearing jerseys of the Los Angeles Dodgers.

"Thanks to the @dodgers for making my kids feel at home," Shakira wrote in the photo's caption.

However, Gerard Pique, the kids' father, was absent from the family trip. Shakira and Pique are reportedly in the process of finalizing a deal regarding the custody of their children, Milan and Sasha.

Late last month, a Mexican television show, "Chisme No Like," reported that Shakira and Pique would meet in the U.S. on August 4 to finalize the details of their current situation.

It was also reported that the ex-couple was planning to have a vacation to the Bahamas with their kids before they finalized the custody of their children.

Shakira Tax Fraud and Split With Gerard Pique

Shakira is currently facing a multitude of problems, including the tax fraud cases filed against her by the Spanish government.

Shakira has opted to go on trial for tax fraud instead of accepting the deal offered by the Barcelona prosecutor's office.

The Colombian singer wanted to go to trial instead of settling the allegations that she defrauded Spain's government of 14.5 million euros ($14.7 million) in taxes.

The Spanish government accused Shakira of committing six crimes, three of them related to wealth tax fraud between 2012 and 2014. 

The other three crimes referred to the evasion of personal income tax while resident in Spain during the same period. The prosecutors argued that the singer lived "habitually in Spain" and that she stayed in the country most of the year.

However, Shakira's camp said the singer had already deposited the amount she is said to owe with the Spanish Tax Agency and has no pending tax debts.

They added that the singer was a resident in the Bahamas, where she owns a property, and the Colombian singer's presence in Spain was "sporadic" until 2015.

But some reports said despite being listed as a resident in the Bahamas, Shakira was living with her ex-boyfriend, Gerard Pique, in Barcelona at the time. The couple split earlier this year amid allegations that the Spanish football player had been unfaithful.
