Gerard Pique is moving on and is reportedly dating a student following his split with Colombian pop sensation Shakira after 12 years.

According to The Sun, Clara Chia Marti, a 23-year-old PR student, is Gerard's new love interest. A source close to Clara told the outlet that the Spanish soccer player and the student "have been seeing each other for months."

"They have been keeping quiet about their relationship but those around them all know what is happening," the insider noted.

It now sparks questions over whether their romance started before Gerard parted ways with Shakira. According to the source, people have been helping Gerard to keep their romance secret.

The insider added that these people have also wiped Clara's social media accounts so people cannot find photos of her.

"That alone makes his mates think he is actually quite serious about being with her," the source told The Sun. 

The PR student is reportedly 12 years younger than Gerard. The two were believed to have met while Clara was working on events at the Barcelona footballer's production company Kosmos.

Clara Chia Marti was reportedly a student working for Gerard Pique in his office, organizing events.

Gerard Pique Spotted With Blonde Woman After Split With Shakira

Days after he parted ways with the "Hips Don't Lie" hitmaker, Gerard Pique was spotted with a mystery blonde at a Swedish restaurant.

In the June photo, Gerard wore a hoodie while his companion wore a white hat. The image was uploaded to social media by Katrin Zytomierska, the owner of the restaurant.

Katrin, who is also a famous Swedish blogger and television host, reportedly uploaded the photo after the Barcelona footballer refused to greet his football-loving son.

"Listen to me your loser Gerard Pique... I was clear with you. I asked you to say hello to my son. You said 'no.' Because you're what? A guy that can dribble a ball?" Katrin wrote.

Katrin noted that the fame got into Gerard's head, which was "pathetic." Katrin said Gerard Pique was not rude at the time, "but he was a little bit arrogant." 

"I suppose that because he's such a well-known footballer... but I hadn't met him until then," the blogger told a Catalan-based journalist.

Local reporters have tried to identify the mystery blonde in the photo but had no luck. No one also confirmed if the woman was Clara Chia Marti.

Shakira and Gerard Pique Split

Shakira and Gerard Pique announced their split in early June.

In a joint statement, the former couple said: "We regret to confirm that we are separating... For the well-being of our children, who are our highest priority, we ask that you respect our privacy. Thank you for your understanding."

Their separation came after rumors surfaced on Spanish media that Gerard was cheating on Shakira.

The Colombian singer and the football superstar are reportedly in the process of finding a solution over the custody of their two children. 

Shakira wanted her sons, Sasha and Milan, to spend the next few years with her in Miami, and Gerard will still have visiting rights. 

However, Shakira's former partner wanted his sons to stay in Barcelona, Spain, as he did not want his sons to be put in a new and different environment.

Shakira and Gerard Pique have already placed the matter in the hands of two law firms to resolve the issue.
