Kim Kardashian is reportedly ready to start dating again after her sudden split with former boyfriend, Pete Davidson.

A source told E! News that the reality star is beginning to ask "who she should date next." As for what qualities Kim looks for in her next romance, a second source revealed that Kim already had an idea of the type of partner she wanted. 

"Kim's expressed she's ready to date someone older, but it has to be the right person who understands her life... She isn't compromising her freedom right now," the source told E! News.

The same insider noted that Kim Kardashian was excited about being on the market and had plenty of options. The source said all of the SKIMS founder's friends were "constantly trying to set her up."

The insider added that the reality star enjoys dating and is "definitely open to putting herself out there again."

Kim Kardashian Shares Cryptic Message After Split With Pete Davidson

Kim Kardashian shared a cryptic message two weeks after she called it quits with Pete Davidson. The reality star shared a slideshow of her photos on Tuesday, looking glamorous in her fashion ensemble. 

Kim looked fabulous in a brown leather jacket, grey boots, and blonde hair. She also leveled her outfit up with a white top from Prada. Kim wrote in the caption of her post: "Time will always tell."

Kim's sister, Khloe, was also enamored by her beauty, saying she looked amazing. The "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" alum has not yet publicly addressed her split with Pete.

However, it was reported that this Instagram post was her "subtle way" of saying she was slowly moving on from her breakup with the comedian by keeping a semi-positive outlook.

Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson's Split

Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson first made headlines while sharing an onscreen kiss on "SNL" last October. 

Later that month, the two sparked dating rumors after they were seen and photographed holding hands on a rollercoaster at Knott's Scary Farm in Buena Park, California.

Kim made her relationship with Pete Instagram official in March. But after nine months of dating, the couple had officially broken up.

Sources said earlier this month that the two decided to "just be friends." The insiders said long-distance relationship and their demanding schedules are the reasons for the breakup.

Despite having a lot of love and respect for each other, the sources noted that being in two distant parts of the globe proved overwhelming for the two, which "made it really difficult to maintain a relationship."

Pete Davidson has recently been spending time in Australia to work on the new A24 film with Orlando Bloom and Naomi Scott on "Wizards!"

On the other hand, Kim Kardashian has been staying at home in Calabasas, California, and busy with her four children while working on her various businesses.
